Two women, alike only in their dissatisfaction with their everyday lives, decide to rent a villa in Italy for a holiday away from their husbands, and recruit two very different women to share the cost and the experience. There in the magical Mediterranean setting all four rediscover themselves and in so doing change the course of their lives and the lives of the men they love in ways they never expected.
