This year's musical show involves the reunion of a family which was estranged for several years. The son has reunited with his father and the two of them go to visit the grandfather who has recently moved into a retirement residence. There is a Christmas open house at the residence which features many songs appropriate to the season. Humourous situations arise in the retirement home and touching moments occur during the reunion.
