Here's how to find us

The theatre is located on the grounds of Proctor Park, adjacent to the Proctor House Museum. From the intersection of Young Street and George Street (County Road 30), go north approximately 200 metres (500 feet) to the parking lot on your left. The barn is a short walk from the parking lot. Patrons may be dropped off beside the barn and there is a limited amount of wheelchair accessible parking beside the building. One of our volunteers will be happy to help you enter the auditorium without needing to negotiate stairs.
See below for a detailed map of the area around the barn.

What's Happening
News
Brighton Barn Theatre lost its long time President on May 2nd after a lengthy illness. Art Middleton, or J Arthur as he always liked to be listed in our programs, had been President for as long as most of us can remember.
For almost 20 years, in addition to his presidential duties, Art also produced plays, was our Technical Director, set designer, lighting designer and operator. We have always been blessed that Art and his construction team had our sets "ready to go" so that our casts could rehearse on them as quickly as possible.
Art was truly committed to our Brighton Barn Theatre, having moved from Cobourg to Brighton, just five minutes away from the theatre, when he became President.
Despite his illness, Art last designed the set and lighting for Norm Foster's "Jenny's House of Joy" which ran April - May this 2025 season and was a tremendous success.
His talents and dedication will surely be missed.
