With Christmas comes the Brighton Barn Theatre’s annual holiday tradition, Christmas at the Barn. This year our show will feature the “Belles of the Barn” with their guest performers Tom Constable and Frank Blanchet. The Belles, a quartet that includes Evita VanZoeren-Seymour, Grace Taylor, Charlene Marcus and Shasta Morey have worked together in previous Barn Christmas shows and decided earlier this year to combine their talents. Their rich vocal harmonies and multiple talents on everything from banjo to harp to violin means they will be offering an eclectic mix of country, jazz, folk and traditional musical styles for your listening pleasure. To round out the show they will welcome to the stage Tom Constable, whose rich baritone voice brings warmth to his favourite Christmas ballads, and Frank Blanchet, whose vocals and exceptional talent on the guitar will be a wonderful addition to the program. New this year the Saturday performance will be a matinee instead of an evening performance allowing some of our more far flung patrons an option to the Sunday matinee. Please join us for what is sure to be a warm and memorable part of your Christmas season.

What's Happening
News
Brighton Barn Theatre lost its long time President on May 2nd after a lengthy illness. Art Middleton, or J Arthur as he always liked to be listed in our programs, had been President for as long as most of us can remember.
For almost 20 years, in addition to his presidential duties, Art also produced plays, was our Technical Director, set designer, lighting designer and operator. We have always been blessed that Art and his construction team had our sets "ready to go" so that our casts could rehearse on them as quickly as possible.
Art was truly committed to our Brighton Barn Theatre, having moved from Cobourg to Brighton, just five minutes away from the theatre, when he became President.
Despite his illness, Art last designed the set and lighting for Norm Foster's "Jenny's House of Joy" which ran April - May this 2025 season and was a tremendous success.
His talents and dedication will surely be missed.
