Based on a very popular British sit com, this riotously funny play is classic British sex farce. When Mildred and Ethel go off on a trip to Paris, the "mice will play". Egged on by Ethel's philandering husband "The audience screamed with laughter as the farcical comedy events unfolded. The plot is simple and slight risque with machine gun quick repartee. Unbridled laughter, by the theatre load." - Brisbane TelegraphHumphrey Pomfrey, George agrees to invite two charming little sex kittens over. That's when things start getting complicated.

Brighton Barn Theatre lost its long time President on May 2nd after a lengthy illness.  Art Middleton, or J Arthur as he always liked to be listed in our programs, had been President for as long as most of us can remember.

For almost 20 years, in addition to his presidential duties, Art also produced plays, was our Technical Director, set designer,  lighting designer and operator.  We have always been blessed that Art and his construction team had our sets "ready to go" so that our casts could rehearse on them as quickly as possible.

Art was truly committed to our Brighton Barn Theatre, having moved from Cobourg to Brighton, just five minutes away from the theatre, when he became President.

Despite his illness, Art last designed the set and lighting for Norm Foster's "Jenny's House of Joy" which ran April - May this 2025 season and was a tremendous success.

His talents and dedication will surely be missed.
